Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida | Ride-For-RMHCCF
  • ​Members of Pine Ridge High School women's soccer team volunteered to help Ronald McDonald House cheer on over 500 cyclists for their 9th annual Ride-For-RMHCCF event. The event raised ended up raising $265,000!

Franklin's Friends | HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Walk-a-Thon & Canine Costume Contest
  • Members of the DeVos Sports Business Management Program at the University of Central Florida volunteered to help Franklin Friend's break a record attendance and raise over $50,000 for local animal welfare.

Central Florida Miracle League | Deltona High School Baseball Team
  • Members of Deltona High School's baseball team volunteered to help individuals with disabilities enjoy the game of baseball. Through a buddy system, the baseball players were able to form a bond  and  help build self esteem for the individuals with disabilities.

Franklin's Friends | HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Walk-a-Thon & Canine Costume Contest
  • Members of Edgewater High School's Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT), Football Team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) organization and Edgewater's Athletic Director Dr. Janet Rasmussen volunteered to help Franklin's Friends run a successful  fundraising event benefitting Central Florida animal welfare providers.

Special Olympics Area Summer Games | Edgewater High School Women’s Basketball & Men's Volleyball Teams
  • Members of Edgewater women's basketball and men's volleyball teams volunteered to help run and support Special Olympics Athlete "Village" where athletes could receive medical treatment, snacks, play games, and listen to music during Special Olympics Area Summer Games at Apopka High School.

Second Harvest Food Bank | Edgewater Tennis Team & Students
  • Members of Edgewater High School’s Tennis Team and other student programs volunteered by sorting and organizing donated food to help support Second Harvest’s food operation.

​Edgewater High School’s Student Athlete Leadership Team provided volunteers to help run scorekeeping and other event logistics at the Special Olympics Area Basketball Games.

Members of Edgewater High School’s Women’s Basketball Team helped lead a coaching clinic to teach volunteering Special Olympics basketball coaches learn proper techniques and the fundamentals of the game.

Sports2Change partnered with Edgewater’s bowling and softball teams to provide volunteers to help with event administration and scorekeeping at the Special Olympics County Bowling & Softball Events.

August 2015 – Clean the World | Sports2Change Board Event
Clean the World Warehouse

Members of Sports2Change’s board volunteered at Clean the World’s warehouse and helped sort and organize soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner donated by local Central Florida hotels so that they could be provided to disadvantaged communities both domestically and abroad.

Freedom High School

Members of Freedom High School’s women’s basketball and track and field teams volunteered by helping setup and breakdown event equipment and provide award ribbons to participating Special Olympic athletes.
